CAE beruft Niels Kröning zum Geschäftsführer – appoints Niels Kröning as General Manager of CAE Elektronik GmbH

Stolberg/Germany, 28th November 2018 – “In den letzten fünf Jahren konnten wir ein kontinuierliches Geschäftswachstum verzeichnen. Speziell der deutsche Markt, der uns immer mehr Möglichkeiten und Geschäftsfelder eröff­net, wird im europäischen Defence und Security Business der CAE das Kerngeschäft blei­ben”, sagt Marc-Olivier Sabourin, CAE’s Vice President und Geschäftsführer, Europa / Afrika. Der Fokus unseres neuen Geschäftsführers wird auf das Unternehmenswachstum ge­richtet sein, das zum einen in der Weiterentwicklung bestehender Kundenkontakte und zum anderen in der Weiterentwicklung unseres Unternehmens liegt. Die aus unserem Kerngeschäft resultierende Geschäftsentwicklung im Bereich Training System Integration und Live Flight Training erfordert eine stärkere Positionierung auf politi­scher und militärischer Ebene. Daher wird Herr Kröning die CAE im entsprechenden politischen Umfeld in Koblenz und Berlin repräsentieren.

In den vergangenen Jahren hat Herr Kröning durch seine Tätigkeit in diversen Positionen bei Airbus, Thales und GfK ein breites Spektrum an Erfahrungen hinsichtlich Unternehmensneuaus­richtungen, politischer Beziehungen, Führungsaufgaben und internationaler Projekte sam­meln können. Internationale Teams unterschiedlicher Geschäftsfelder in Deutschland und Frankreich lieferten unter seiner Führung Produkte und Service rund um den Erdball. Ange­spornt von der Zufriedenheit seiner Kunden sowie einem innovativen Arbeitsumfeld konzentrierte er sich stets darauf, mit seinen Teams engagiert und motiviert die gesetzten Ziele zu erreichen. Neben längerfristigen Projekten fokussiert sich Herr Kröning auch stark auf kurz- und mittelfristige strategische Veränderungen.

Niels Kröning gained broad experience in transformations, political affairs, leadership and international project and program execution in various functions at Airbus, Thales and GfK. He led international teams in different business environments in Germany and France and delivered products and services around the globe.  Driven by client satisfaction as well as an innovative work environment, he has always been focusing on achieving targets with the full engagement of his teams. Besides a long-term vision he strongly believes in short- and mid-term action oriented strategy implementation.
